Interplanet Dating Service is designed to be a dating service for people who are involved with building human presence beyond Earth, for anyone living on another planet or in a space colony, or for those interested in being a member of one of those groups.

There are lots of other dating sites out there. Please use one of them: We're not trying to be harsh, we just want to make sure there's a common set of interests between the people using this site. If you won't be a part of the group, do yourself and everyone here a favor by not signing on in the first place.
Membership on this site is not free for a variety of reasons, as explained in the FAQ. Basically, we want to ensure our users are legitimate adults committed to the community. The nominal fee we charge for admission helps us achieve that goal.
